Hi There World!

These two are my shadows.....seems wherever i am they are...here they are sitting on my laptop bag at my feet while im on my computer Cute huh?:)
Okay i have to ask......do you think they might notice this??? I keep getting told that all i have to do is ask...ummm hello,,,,if its obvious why do i have to ask all the time...my rubbish and recycling spot:)

The random things we find when Zoe is left to her own devices:) I love it!

Leigh all dressed in his office wear.

Their teams slogan

The sign Leigh helped design and print.

Gday all. Long time no post but hey im not about to apologize for that:) Im not too sure that there is a world of people out there waiting on my every boring bit about my life i choose to share here :)

But share i will...theres been quite alot happening here. And in no random order, bit like me i shall share a little bit of *stuff* with you.

The last week of school my boy participated in Australian Business Week, they are given a subject and a fake account and they are to design and market their products, taking into account, costs, overheads, job positions available and the like. Leighs group called themselves Omega Designs. They had to market a pair of soccer shoes. They did extrememly well in their competition, coming second overall and with their marketing director,,,,eg Naomi coming third with her reports so good news all round. I do have some photos that i will post at a later date and put to this post.

Darrels dad passed away on the 19th June and we held the wake here at home. There was alot for Daz to do, even though his dad had actually paid and planned his funeral Darrel wanted a few extra nice touches. All in all the day went well and unfortunately like anything its a shame to catch up with relatives at a funeral, even so it was a nice day.

Zoe and i took a day trip to Mildura the first day of the holidays, i had a foillow up appointment regarding my hearing aid and she had saved money so we had planned to go shopping. And shopping she did! She scored an amazing range of goodies at various stores...apart from Jay Jays i would have to say that Factorie is a pretty darn cool store....i thought it was quite pricey but turned out not as bad as some i expected and hey i even found some clothes for me:)

We hit quite a few shops on our travels and had a ball, the best bits that i found hard to beat was the excited little squeals that my nearly 15yo daughter let out when she found something *so cute* that she just had to have. That along with the cute little feet stamping just made my dayxxxxx Love you gert!xxx She came home woth scarves, pants, tops, bonds undies, globe socks, brand name jumper and even a not so brand name one nearly identical to her favourite, for 15 dollars!!! I picked up two navy tops that i plan to get embroidered for school....sure beats 35 dollars, they were 15 as well.

Our volley ball team that zoe and i played in got to the grand final...and we actually won it! Whoo hoo Patisserie Tarts....hope to scan a photo to pop in here too...it is a dreadful pic that made the newspaper by the way, maybe i shouldnt post it LOL

We just came in from the new vegie garden. The man has been itiching to do this for the last 3 months. We had a gorgeous one set up in the back yard but unfortunatly the puppies had an absolute ball digging it up...hhmmm and actually i have the photos to prove that too!

I know im promising lots of photos now to just deliver.

We have finished our apples and we picked and pruned or oranges as well, the burn heap has also been reduced to nothing so that is fantastic! Always so much to do.

Still need to prune the stone fruit.....
Also have the BAS to do along with PAYG and group certificates.....and get things ready for tax this year. We recently have just finished and received our 2008/2009 returns. I must say we did get a lovely surprise :) I so dont want it hanging over my head for that long again. The kids even got a return, Leigh used his for car rego and zoe used hers for shopping:)

I have finished crochetting a scarf that i love...i visited Attic24 Lucys blog and found some so easy instructions for a scarf that i could help but make...only thing was it was supposed to be a laprug but you started with a long chain of stitches...like 250...but i decided a scarf was the way to go as i couldnt get any more wool the same to continue the blanket and so decided to make two scarves. Mardi said i should post the pics on my blog as a craft list i wanted to complete:) So that too will have a photo pop up on it soon.

Can anyone tell me how to link someones name in my blog to theirs....still dont know how to do it:)

As a matter of fact im waiting for lunch to cook might grab the camera and pop some pics in here ,,,makes for a more interesting post. Now im not into the lovely photshop borders...need more time to practice so please bear with my plain old pics......i also like how people do the collages......oh lightbulb moment....i used to do them in Picasa!!!! Hmmm may need to revisit that! Just dont seem to have the hours available in my day to do the productive things i really want to do.

Ive been so ultra tired lately and really quite down. Ive been feeling *off* due to my illness, there will be lingering vertigo nausea and dizziness which i think will last indefinatley. Im really quite shy about getting back to the gym because i dont want it to flare up again, who knows i may loose the hearing in my other ear.

Im feeling fat frumpy and ugly because of this. Im trying to get some more sleep and maybe will be able to face going to the gym again....geez i am so missing it and how it makes me feel. I know when i go that i dont have my back troubles beacuse wht weights and core exercises i do help to strengthen my back. At the moment i am visiting the chiropracter each month and in pain. So there is another reason i must get back:) Im just finding it hard to face it at the moment. I do however check out Cathy Zielskes Blog and facebook page and she is so inspiring me to get out and run again...!!!!!!!

Well i might leave it here for now but grab the camera and try to post some pics.

Im actually waiting to ring virgin mobile when leigh is home as i have brought his nokia e63 from him...im loving the fact i have a camera phone. (mine is about oh.......dunno how many years old so there is no blue tooth, camera, music nothing! Nada! Zip...just a phone:)Im taking pics with my new phone but because the sim is inactive i cant use it and i want to change it to my custom telestra number before i can upload any pics:)

Oh speaking of Leigh.,,,,,my clever lad has a new job, out or the 14 days of school holidays he will have 5 days off! Although he needs to complain about that...not sure what it is about this boy, whinges cause he's got no work then whinges cause he's got it!!!!! Are the teenage boys all the same or is it just mine.....geez THINK OF THE MONEY!!!!!! He wants to save up for a VT commodore so think of the money!!!!
