Wonderful Easter Break!

I am planning to come back and update this post with photos and more juicy gossipy bits about our Easter Break.

We went to the local Easter Breakfast, daz and i decided that because we had never been to one that this year was the year to go. It was a gorgeous morning weather wise crisp and cool, a typical autumn morning, we got our glass of juice, piece of french toast and our sausage and little piec of ham steak...we then went over to the river and sat on the edge with our legs dangling over the side of the bank and shared our breakfast with the cute ducks,,,,there was a very curious little brown speckley one and a lovely browny black one that also had a deep dark purple on its wing.

After breakfast we went to see mum in law and had a coffee with her as it has been a while since we had seen her :( I know she misses us and we are bad kiddies for not popping by more often but maybe we can change that:)

After we had visited for a while we went home and attacked our vegie garden and boy do i mean attacked...i do have photgraphic proof of before

...which reminds me...i loved going out and picking some of our spinach and rocket to have with my avocado egg and bacon on toast friday morning.....yummo! I do try to eat healthy...unfortunately with Easter i have recently eaten a little unhealthy too as we have all i am sure haha...time to fix that me thinks:)

I now have a copy of Zumba and am itching to give that a bash:) I must tell you, secretly that i sat and watched an exercise dvd the other day...it was very good actually:)

One day over Easter we also decided to replant the lovely new clean vegie patch up:) We put in brocolli, cauliflower, rocket mix, onion, oh and two more things i cant remember at this stage....actually you cant see much difference because of the angles:(

We also spend a lovely amount of time just sitting on our front verandah drinking coffee and watching the leaves rustle by and the kids come and go with their various friends and comings and goings.

We had a campfire night one of the nights and we cooked a yummy campoven tea......

the kids had friends over for two seperate nights to have a cook out and one frined ended up staying one night with zo so that was company for her.

We achieved a tiny block of cleaning up down the shed before we were text by darrels cousin to go for tea as one of the cousins were down visiting family so just us two went out for tea and left the kids home with some money to order in a pizza......they chose instead to order from the new noodle shop that has opened up in town, we had it on the thursday night and i must say it was quite yummy while watching dvds and hanging with family...so nice...its the little things in life that make it all worthwhile.

Last night we went camping with our camper trailer...


it is the first time we have actually used it...even Leigh has taken it and used it twice more than us:) We had a lovely time....playing yahtzee by gas light was fun, leigh taught us a new card game called Kings.....nice quick and easy:)

We also managed some yabbying down the creek, quality family timexx







Im going to sign off for now, unfortunately when i camp i dont sleep too well and so it seems i didnt get enough zeds last night and am now feeling quite tired.....kids are back to school tommorrow after their two week break and daz has taken a week off.....pity i couldnt either but i have booked time off in June and as it so happens i have received the most amazing news today but im going to save that for a later post.....not too long though:)
