Time off

Day 1
We went and got 6 new chickens...poor babies they have hardly any feathers and i feel so sorry for them, however it wont take long for them to grow...especially if the older chickens leave them alone. They are pretending to defend their territory against the intruders and keep attacking them.
We went to Mitre 10 to get some hinges for our home made pot bellystove daz is making for the verandah...mmmm cant wait to sit out there all the time and be nice and warm.
Did a bit of housework here and there and not a real lot else. It came in really really cold and wet about 3pm just as daz was getting wood to light the fire, i sent him to the shower and i made milo for him to come out to and be nice and warm.
We ended up putting a movie on....terminator salvation with sam wothington in it. I quite liked it actually, by that time it was like 5.30ish so we had some of the Lamb and Barley soup i had cooking in the slow cooker. All in all a lazy day.

Day 2
He has had to go to a meeting at work. Im pottering around tidying up, ive fed the chooks, done dishes, tidied up under the verandah a little.....and now i am anxious,,,,,not sure why, did have words with zo this morning but thinking about the fruit we have left to sort out and all the dramas to go with it...it all just overwhelms me and i automatically start to stress as soon as i think of it having to be done:( I really dont know why. Im having the funny eye and off feelings today....im thinking i should take some rescue remedy to see if that helps me today......:) Anyway im going to head off for now but will keep this updated so i can see what we have achieved rather than what I havent:)
