The start of our busy time is here. A week early i might add......hmm what busy season do you ask.....
We have a fruit property and from now until April we will be busy,,,,,first there is apricots which we cut and dry....you will see them in the supermarket as the Angas Park brand.....they go until just after New Years...generally we are picking them New Years Day!!! No celebrations for us....
Followed in Feburary by not one but two crops...these are pears and sultanas also for drying.....The pears are pretty easy as we get to pick and put them in the coolroom and bring them out for 7 days then can cut them. Its great that we can *plan* this fruit...everything else nope flat out and dont collect 200 bucks as you pass go.....
Look it will all be worth it because we hope to pay our house off this year form the proceeds then save up to buy the property next door to ours which has a house,,,,,anyone who knows me knows i HATE HATE HATE the travelling....yeah yeah i know its only 6kms and yeah there are worse things happening around the world what is 6 bloomin K's...well the answer to that is packing up the kids each day including foods (we want to eat healthy, so its salads and fruit ect)
clean cutlery and crockery which i bring home to wash every coupla days...can wash there too thou.....ummm hats sunscreen and other misc items including toiletries handwash, loo paper ect...anyway enough of the gripin LOL .......im not really....
Anyway the neighbours want to sell up and move along...we really really want this place if only for the convenience of living *on the block*...i havent even seen inside the house yet but Daz says i would love it as it is similar to ours and we renovated this ourselves so i can t wait to have a look at it...be dreadful if i hated it hey LOL??? Its gotta have three bedrooms and a room i can scrap in or else.....we also would like a darkroom....poor daz we finally get his darkroom up and going and we may leave it hahaha.
I have planned to have a week off the week after next so we are hoping the apricots can hang just a little bit longer otherwise there is going to be ALOT of late nights and cranky us....:)
I have also been offered a week off work in Feb for the pears but Daz is hoping we may be able to get a few days off together as a family...yaay cant wait.
We saw a show on the ABC last night called Agony Aunts with Clive Robertson and two women...boy they could have been talking about me and Daz in that we arent sure whether to sell our property to spend more time together as a family or just *coast along* until eg we can get this house.....also like Steve and Donna from the show...we dont have a lot of time for just us two....we do communicate it is a very important part of our relationship but it could be better.....with our jobs and the block and the kids....he has alot on his plate so i tend to leave him alone and he knows he can call on me for help if he needs too. It makes it hard in some respects cause i cant commit to anything cause im never sure if he is able to make it...
They also talked about the sex and hugging side of the relationship....LOL boy did we laugh.....yep Daz comes to give me a hug and kiss and it is like go away im busy or dont touch me,,,,dont grope me.....even thought i know he doesnt want to do anything i just dont want to be touched....i do love him dont get me wrong that is not it at all:)
I like to hug but in my own time and way and not for long cause it might go further and i aint got time for *further * LOL....
Anyways enough of that dribble LOL not much has really been happening in my neck of the woods....just work and family obligations.....i went out for tea on Friday night for our work party...we went to the new look renmark club....looks nice but i wasnt happy with my meal.
I ordered chicken snitzel and i wanted the steak gravy of...green peppercorns and bacon and you know what i got....bloody cheese and bacon...too bad if i was allergic to cheese...anyway two others ordered the mushroom off the steak gravy menu with their chicken snitzels and they got it why didnt i...not happy .....
The kids had a job list a mile long yesterday to complete...now i dunno about anyone elses kids but mine need a blow by blow account of what they need to do otherwise it dont get done!! Needless to say the list wasnt really alot to do just instuctions....
Im gonna split now im making salad for tea and daz is bbqing some marinated chicken wings then its showers all round and bed....i know im knackered and we have a busy time coming up......

Riverland Scraptacular Weekend.......
This is my layout from Mardis class on the weekend......it was so much fun...i love sewing on my layouts but generally i dont cut flowres or any of that....im lazy id rather stick a blossom on...but you know what....i loved it and i am going to do it again....maybe the flowers will be bigger next time:)I love this pic of my two sweethearts....i took it down the river a few weeks ago....wasnt sure about the pink with my boy but i love it...biased arent i LOL.
The other pic is of out project lead by Lisa...it is a chip box and we decorated it.....you could use it for lollies...chokkies...candy canes or anything really...great idea thanks Lisa you did good gal!
Not alot has been happening since the weekend...just work and family.....havent even scrapped yet....LOL.

Oh what fun...!
Oh didnt we have a faboulus time yesterday girls?
I know i did.....im referring to our riverland get together that was arranged months ago. Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond the control of the organisers the original function was cancelled but us gals decided to go ahead anyway:) YAY im glad we did.....
Mardi thankyou for the venue and organising it.....you did a fab jobxx

In other news.....im just going to bullet point this entry cause its getting late and im in the middle of cooking tea....yummy stirfry...well in the middle of preparing it anyway:)
* My gorgeous little girl.....turned 11 on the 22nd Nov....where does the tiem go...she had her beautiful long blonde hair cut into layers and it looks fantastic!! SHe had a friend sleepover and a video night on friday night.
* Leigh went to Mildura for an overnight trip to Mildura last week.....bowling, swimming, rollerskating...playing pizza hut for tea...woodsies gem shop as well as snakes and ladders needless to say he came home one very tired boy on Friday.
*Daz is going back to the doctors about his leg....he is having a lot of pain in in further down than the actual break site...im hoping there isnt a crack or something they have missed....until the visit and new xrays we wont know so its prob best not to speculate...although he seems to think they may wish to take the screws and plate out...he freaks out cause the screws go right thru the bone and on the xray it almost looks like they are about to hang out his leg....yeck!
*My sister is doing well at the moment, she is very excited as she is getting asleepout for her two eldest girls....6 people in a three bedroom house is kinda tight...esp with the size of her rooms....so im hoping to help her there...
*Work is going well.....i am happier there now than i was a few months ago......after talking to the boss about how i felt and somethings that went on...things are so much brighter there now....
*The fruit is coming along so fast it is unbelievable....argh that means we are going to be busy now until April...there will be a few quiet minutes in there at some stage tho.....
*Its not so bad....considering the way the water situation is at the moment we may not even have a block to run next year...Daz has already mentioned he may have to go away to work....there would be not water for the company he works for so hence no job there either....lets keep our fingers crossed that we manage okay....theres always the option of selling up and going to Qld ( this suggestion put forward by hubby with the pain in his leg being so bad) Although Qld isnt that bad LOL!!!!
* I have two neices coming to stay over the holidays and our family cant wait....i have been estranged from their mum as i never agreed with her lifestyle and so decided to distance ourselves from it....she has recently come into our lives and i am so proud of her and of the acheivements she has reached that i want to reach out and spend time with her and her girls....she feels the same so i am very happy to have had another chance at this relationship.......dont get me wrong we didnt hate each other ....and we talked now and again but never seeked each other out at any stage.....
*Im sure im going to forget so much but i shall stop it here Daz is home and he is so very tired i want to feed him get him thru the shower and into bed......to sleep!!!! He has to do water at 10pm and doesnt know how he will cope he is so tired so im sending him to bed alone:)

Zoe has a twin
I bet none of you knew that zoe had a twin did you,,,well here she is...this is zoe's cousin shannon.
They are nearly the same age...zoe is 9 months older.
Daz was watching them run and he said they even run alike and have some same mannerisms. I have mistaken them twice on 2 different occasions for each other....hmmm what was i thinking hahaha.
We had a wonderful suprise last wed night...my sister had one of my other nieces staying with her and she was going to go home on the Thursday well Daz said why dont we ask monique to bring brooke around before she goes home and i agreed.
Well just after i arrived home in came my other sister and the best thing of all was she had both her daughters with her...we were so rapt. They all came out for tea along with my sister jodies friend dave and his daughter tarryn..with whom my 13 year old son was quite smitten with i might add :) SO cute.....
Now its not that i dont get along with all my sisters but we just dont keep in contact which we have all decided to rectify because these girls are jsut the most gorgoeus things and we have missed out so much by not having them in our lives.
I rang jo today just to say g'day and we had a great chat. I explained that i am sorry we havent kept in touch and why...we feel our family (us 4) is our family and that is what is important to us but in so saying this we have missed so much.
They all had a ball when they visited us and they cannot wait to see us again. Us either!!

Lots of things today
Hello once again i was going to update last night but i got busy looking at other stuff and got side tracked haha.
Lots have been happening here lately.
First of all my DD hockey team won the u/11 grand final first time ever yeehaa. Unfortunately when they took the team photo for the paper my little girl wasnt in it nor did she even get a absent mention...i was very dissapointed about it. We had to leave to go to a family reunion at Loxton but we needed to go from Berri back to Renmark and then back thru Berri and over to Loxton that day...argh!!! And still we were late for the reunion.
Thats was alot of fun, Darrel got to meet cousins he had never met before, alot of them knew he existed but only had met his brother when younger...so there you have it 38 years old and meeting cousins for the first time.
Darrel had a ball catching up and meeting them all. We have promised to keep in touch with alot of the cousins and many have said to pop in to see them when we go to Adelaide.
Today is a crappy day outside, very cool and windy. We are planning to visit my sister today as we have something to drop of to her for the kids.
We were planning to do alot in our garden today and i guess we still can ,,, i need to go and do some shopping at some stage today so everyone has food to eat this coming week. The kids are on holiday so they feel the need to eat everything in the pantry!
I had my very good friend visit from Melbourne last weekend....we had a terrific time but unfortunately they had to go home early as her mum was taken to hospital but we decided that from Fri night to Sun morning was better than nothing at all. Had we known they were to go home early we wouldnt have had them visit us so a little was definately better than none at all.
We met for the first time about 4 years ago and we are quite close we ring each other alot and she has children the same age as mine.
Would you believe that we also got a phone call from friends in Red Cliffs saying they were planning to come visit that weekend......they havent been here in 8 years...im not sure if they have been here before but anyway we had to say sorry......we managed to catch up with them on Monday as we had to go to Mildura to get our tax done and we met up with them and our other lot of friends as well.....us 3 girls share the same birthday...2 on the same day and one two days later....and our kids are all close in age but they had girls first then boy i had the boy then the girl:)
Well im going to cut it short here Dh is getting things ready to go to my sisters so im going to have to have a shower.....boo hoo i love to live in my pjs on the weekend for as long as possible:)

Hello again. Well so much has been happening i just dont know where to start.
Zoes under 11 mixed hockey team won the Grand Final today...yay.. no one was expecting it at all, least of all the kids as Loxton, the team they beat they havent won against them all year!!!!
They won 3-1. Every one was so excited.
After this excitement we went to a family reunion at Loxton. Relatives organised a *small* get together and we met lots of rellies we dont even know and it was funny because alot of them knew of Darrels brother but not him:)
We took a few photos, not many unfortunately as the battery was going to go flat after all the photos taken at hockey.
On the home front we are busy but for some reason i dont seem to be as busy as usual.....oh thats right (lol) i havent been going to the block....hmmm once since Darrels accident back in June,,,naughty me.
I am doing quite alot of scrapbooking lately, i brought the Elsies 52 challenges book and it is just awesome for inspiration... I love it. Thanks girls who put me on to it:)
Ummm work is busy with holiday makers travelling through at the moment.
I cant wait until Friday ,,,,one of my very very good friends and her family are coming to visit us for the long weekend and we all cant wait....Hurry up Mazzies LOL......
We met online oh about 5 or 6 years ago i guess and we have only met once but we chat at least once a week and i love her dearly.....she knows things about me that no one else knows and she cant be bribed cause she loves me...right Nise....Nise....Nise???? LOL
Leigh got the all clear on Friday he got a mole cut off his back but all is well. I said i wanted him to get it check , well he told the dr that mum wanted it cut out...I DID NOT SAY THAT!! Anyway it is done now:)
Zoe is going well at school, we had dramas with her earlier in the year but she has done herself and us proud, she has really pulled it together and is doing really well.
Her brother went through a little rebelling stage it was so funny. He asked me one night if he could talk to me and i said sure...we are all for talking about anything and everythingin this house, anyway he told me that he felt like getting into trouble or a fight so he could get some attention......yikes,,,,i explained the only attention you would get would be negative and thank you for talking to me.
His reasoning was,,,zoe has been getting lots of attention with her homework and he isnt.....( well needless to say he doesnt need the help) anyway once we explained that his sister was struggling and was needing the help he was fine...but arent kids the cutest.
I totally praised him for coming to talk about it:) He is so grown up now my baby.....
Well i guess i have enough to say for the minute.....i must keep jotting down things to chat about in my blog and update more often.
I also need to work out how to add photos as i have no idea and they look so effective.
anyway dont be a stranger and please just drop a note to say hi, then i know im not ranting to myself:)

Life just gets faster and faster!!
Come join the merry go round ride of which is called my life.
We have celebrated DS 13th birthday, i cannot believe that my baby boy is now a TEENAGER!!!!
He had a sleepover party with some of his friends, some came and couldnt sleep over and went home at like 10.30 at night, others didnt get there until 8.30pm and others slept and had to go early in the morning...now never say to your teen oh we will buy you a double bed for your birthday....god what an expensive exercise...he was really great he picked out a bed from the Radio Rentals catalogue that he liked and it was only $169. The mattress, doona, protector and the electric blankets were the killers....anyway he has rearranged his room and has done a lovely job ofit. Not sure if it is my imagination or not but there seems to be more room in there.
THe rest of our days have been busy too....DH suffered on his birthday poor guy.....id beeen so intent on getting things *just right* for DS that i kinda forgot about him and my neice who was also 13 on the next day...whoops, just remembered her sister is 12 on sunday...
I have some news to blab and hope that you guys are all interested in popping along to check it out.
We are having 3 talented scrapbookers coming to the Riverland on Saturday 25th of November for a huge workshop.....it is going to be absolutely fantastic...im going and cannot wait.
We are going to meet Tracey Watson, Samantha Dorn and Donna Wild.

I actually went to my scrap room and decided to sew my daughters skirt that i started to make her a few months ago but the only thing is i had a blonde moment and cant work out how to do the zip...so im leaving it for now:)
I have been doing a bit of scrapbooking lately and will upload some of my work to my gallery at a later date.

Hello world....
Hi guys,
What a surprise hey, i have been on the computer for a couple of hours today and i feel like updating my blog a little so here i am.
We had hockey at waikerie today which is about 50 mins away from here. The trip was good and the waether was absolutley gorgeous!!!! I got in the mood for a spring clean argh!!! look out house.
After we got home i opened the house up and began to potter about my house,, you know the usual going through drawers, tidying up and best of all dejunking....i love that word dont you, it conjures up all sorts of stuff LOL.
Anyways, i have had a few bits and pieces laying around that i have been meaning to scan into the computer like photos, hockey photos and newspaper clippings and the like so i brought it all in and scanned just about the lot!
We went to Qld back in 2002 and got some olden day photos done and i found one the other day and we were devastated to see that it had faded quite badly...very disappointed...so i scanned it into the computer and i will play with it in picasa and see how i go at getting a decent pic from it.
It feels so good when you manage to complete something that has been hanging over your head for ages.
I was in my scrap room last night for about 4 hours and managed to complete about 4 layouts,,,a record for me i might add.
I want to get stuck into that room as part of my spring clean....it just really needs a good tidy up and things need sorting out.
Oh just so i dont forget, i read a terrific book the other day by Craig Russell called Brothers Grimm a very good read, you will never think of fairy tales the same way again so if you like crime and murder you will like this book. I intend to borrow it again at a later date because it was a good read and i read it a bit fast so need to go a bit slower with it next time.
Okay im off again i can hear a coffee calling me and i am so thirsty.

Welcome to my world....
Hello to all of you out here in cyber space...especially those who have been hanging by a thread to read any updates i may add....but im not mentioning any names B!! LOL
Congratulations on your sweet little man, B ...i cannot wait to see the awesome layouts you complete when you have time..of BOYS!!! I find them challenging.
Well there have been oodles of things happening in my neck of the woods.
We were off to Adelaide on the weekend as DH had his check up with the doctor about his hip. All is healling well and both DH and the DR were happy with his progress.
While in Adelaide i had to do some shopping lots of goodies in relation to my fave hobby,,,,scrapping of course. Lots of American Crafts sticker sheets on special for $3:) Got lots of those.
I had some wonderful news a few weeks ago. I have a wonderful friend who lives in Melbourne...we started off as internet penpals and over the time we have chatted on the phone just about every wednesday and sometimes more than just wednesdays....we have met once, 4 years ago.,,,,well she is coming to visit me!~!~!!!!!!!~~~!!!!!!
She is my soul sister, we are so alike in so many ways and we think the same and have the same values and ideals.....the most funniest thing is, is that any one of us can ring at any time and either one of our children at any given point in time have done the same thing or have given us the exact amount of grief at the same time,,,, it is just so funny at thimes and really weird too....our 4 older children are of similar ages and they all get along well and the DH's do as well so it is going to be so fantastic to meet her,,,,we are all excited.
We are all going to meet in Mildura and spent the day there and then come home here and just veg, do the river walk, have a picnic,,,all the stuff we want to do...lets hope its nice weather hahaha.
Um what else can i share with you all.
Whle in Adelaide we went to visit my dear friend who looked after me on my horrible trip to Adel, that poor precious had her two babies down very sick at the time luckily her two older girls were fine....we took tea with us cause she was feeling crappy too.....i managed to have lots of cuddles with the baby (he's 16mths old) and managed to give mummy a break...:) He is jsut so so so gorgeous,,,i want him LOL
My crew were busy on the weekend planting trees on our block, the BIL and SIL helped DH and the kids,,,,,god love em they planted 325 trees. Then on the sunday before we left for Adelaide we laid out the irrigation and put all the sprinklers on for them...they look fab!!
The kids are doing great in Hockey...on july 6th DD got her first ever goal and blow me down the next week if DS didnt get one!!!! Only to follow it up the following week with another one....dd made the paper too, he has two photos in the junior sport section of the local paper....so proud of him .
Ummm really not alot more to write...lots of things happening but waiting is the hardest thing LOL.....I dont want to jinx anything so im not saying any more,,,,,

Oh one last thing.....your thoughts on Jamie winning BB06???
I didnt care cause i voted off all those i didnt want there LOL and when i didnt manage to vote the public voted for me in the just about exact order i wanted ...so in the end i didnt care who won out of Jamie or Camilla ....i was happy either way.
Im going to sign off for now, i have a fence to mend with DS, we had a big arguement this morning...why do *so close to being a teen boy, its not funny* kids have to have an attitude about a mile wide......generally my kids are really good and i dont really have alot of trouble with them, but ds today boy oh boy.....i let him have it.......then to make it worse, i worked late tonight and DH rang to ask where DS was...at like 5.45 pitch black and raining...well didnt i freak!!!!!!! Anyway he had gone to a friends and not asked permission...little scamp!!
Alls well that ends well so off for a chat and a coffee...

Thankyou so much for visiting my blog:) It was fantastic to see that you had visited me...i was hoping you were going to.
Oh wow Jamaica huh....you go girl....that is so amazing....
Hmm Red Carpet too and so not exciting cmon babe surely it was a little exciting:)
For those of you that dont know about my friend Angeline, we have been web friends for gee,..... before we moved into this house and that was like in 1998.....we havent kept in touch properly for a while but i always think of her and her daughter and wonder how they are getting on.
We used to play upwords by email every single day and chat via ICQ didnt we...those were the days :)
She says i talk like Nicloe Kidman and i told her it was jsut the accent, funny considering Nicloe was born in Hawaii, although did grow up in Oz i guess!
We have our own little code that we arent sharing with anyone are we mate heehee

Broken Hip
Hi ther i am now back.
What an eventful week it has been. Last Wednesday night my DH went to work loading bales of lucerne in the back of the work ute with another guy from work where they had to light them for frost control...as you may know it has been down to minus 7 degrees C here lately anyways,,,,my DH and friens were on the last bale and wouldnt you know it, they pushed the last one off the back of the ute and DH went with it!!!!
Consequently i have been in Adelaide with the children as DH broke his hip in the fall. He was flown to Adelaide via RFDS and underwent an operation about 9.30am on Thursday morning.
I didnt find out until nearly midnight this had happened. I happened to be on the net looking at things for a friends wedding that i am making the invitations for and they were unable to get hold of me on the telephone and my stupid mobile only goes to voice mail...anyway this happened about 9.30 at night.
After ringing DH and leaving two messages i got into bed at about 11.45pm wondering when he was going to be home...about 5 mins later a car pulled into the driveway and some one came banging on my door.
IT was the wife of tha man with DH who said DH is in hospital, he has fallen from the ute and hurt himslef,,,maybe broken his hip.
She said later i was quite calm about it all although i seemed a littl out of it...she said she would stay and watch the kids for me. To cut a long story short i got back home eventually about 2.30am,,,i had gone home in the meantime to get him some clothes for the trip to Adelaide, the friend left and after trying to organise what i needed to do before i left in the morning.....i got to bed about 4am! I couldnt sleep, at 4am i rolled to his side of the bed and cried:(
I woke at 4.45am feeling SO sick...i was terribly worried about driving to Adelaide...ive never done it before! I woke again at 6am and after not going back to sleep i finally got up at 7am.
I rang a friend to ask if we can stay there and she said yes of course.....dont even need to ask,,,so thankyou heaps Kell,,,,,,you are a darling friendxxxx
After all this i had to tell the kids and they understandably freaked out, we left for adelaide about 10am...we got to the hosp about 2.30 i guess, DS just about passed out on the floor when he saw Daddy, and DD was very quiet as well. I did warn them Daddy would have tubes and things in him
It was so wonderful to see him...he looked so sore and tired and sick.....no wonder!!!
HE was looking much better the following day, which was Friday, he was not happy though because he just had a plate and 3 screws no 4 screws put in his leg and they wanted him to walk on it. Eventually they said if you can walk on it by weekend satisfactorily then you can go home on monday.....we DH is such a determined bloke and guess what...we came home on Monday :)
Im going to stop herte for tonight.....i worked today and ive not seen him much so im going to go sit my my sweethearts side:)

Yeah yeah i know....
Im sorry for those of you who just HANG OUT to read my blog LOL, yeah right.
Well it sure doesnt seem like 5 weks ago since we had our holiday to Qld. I cannot believe it. On one hand the time seems to have dragged so slowly since then but we have done so much in the time we have been home.
I for one have just been so tired and am in bed before 9 most nights after wanting to crawl into bed at 5.30 after getting home from work!
There has been so much going on. The kids had freinds over this weekend for the first time in along time. And then the next night they have both gone to those friends paces for a *double sleepover* this allowed DH and myself to go out for tea to the club. It was are really nice night, after tea we called in at my sisters to see how her and the kids were going and they are doing really well. Im so proud of her, since losing her DP back in Feb she has gotten so strong with her kids and is really managing them well. She was having alot of discipline probs before with the kids playing one parent off on another but seeings now it is just her she is doing great.
Umm work is going well and i am enjoying it for the most part. I am not working many saturdays now which is good. I am taking the kids to Hockey on Sat mornigns at the moment because of this reason and we are loving it.
Last weekend we went shopping afterwards and then on the sunday i have been having issues with dd not soing homework and a few other things and ive really had to be strong there anyway she spent about 6 and an half hours on the computer doing her homework......for her that is a marathon effort as my sweet little precious doesnt have avery long span LOL,,,,but god she is gorgeous!
We have implemented an new behaviour plan in our house and i am proud to say that it si working well, The kids have a set list of things to do before school, after school, before tea, after tea and before bed. It is all written in list form on the cupboard and they have to follow it and failure to do so results in a black x next to your name a certain amount of these at the end of the week results in an item of theirs at their choosing to be given to us to dispose of either to the op shop or even throwing away. SO far no one has lost and item and in the week of doing it both children only got one cross so they got pocket money this week and a treat, eg friends to sleep over. They have been so great and i am so proud of them and tonight when they get home they will be told this.
Im loving this time by myself today, DH is painting his trailer, last weekend he went touse it and it jsut about literally fell to pieces...LOL after working out how old it is...older than DS who is nearly 13 he now wonders why.....last weekend he and ds put anew floor in in and put strenghtener plates and bars ect where it needed it to make it well agin hahaha. So now he is painting it....
Ive been out in my scrap room going through my photos, i have thousands and i need to get them out of the old albums into new ones so that job has taken a while on and off to do. This morning ive actually started to put them into albums......
I have been doing a few scrap pages as well. The girls at RSS have been hounding me for holiday pics LOL so i shall soon upload some of them...they are quick simple but effective and i love em.
Anyway im going to split today as there is no way im going to remember all i want to share so im just going to have to write more often

Weelll hello all...
My life has been so busy lately, i know i tried to promise to keep updating on my blog but you know what???? Life has been so darn busy there has been no way to....doesnt help i spend too much time watching BB and then spending time chatting to my friends at Riverland Scrapbooking Supplies Forums...LOL
We are off to Qld for our long awaited holiday this coming Monday the 1st May..yay cant wait.
I havent even finished packing and it is saturday morning, i have been working the late shift at my job and havent been getting home until 5.30 6pm and by then its time nearly fro BB...nah seriously ,by the time you feed the kids and catch up there then tidy up and watch a bit of tv.......its late.
I went out to my scrap room twice this week,,,yay...i managed to finish a lo i titled Share the love ...all about how my neice loves her uncle and how she wouldnt share him with her brother this day they came overLOL
We had visitors for easter and they were here for5 days...phew....during that time we managed to get some work done at the block.
The pressure was on this year as we wanted to have everything done before we went away,,,we arent doing TTTOOO bad i guess...we pushed out a heap of apricot trees and have burnt that pile, we pruned our pears and another lot of apricot trees ....we have dried our sultanas and managed to get 6 bins or DD thinks about 3 tonnes out of that.
We are however still sorting them,,,you have to check for snails and foreign grass seeds...prickles whatever before they go in or you can be docked money...not good when you dont get much anyway.
I cant at this moment remeber what else has been happening all i know is just about every moment has been accounted for since we started to cut our apricots back in December 2005!!!!!
Now it is time for 2 weeks of BLISS!!!!
We travel to Adelaide on Monday but fly to Qld on Tues..we are planning to go to the BB eviction show while there, we are travelling with 2 friends and their kids so there will be 11 of us and boy do we plan to run amok!!!
All the theme parks are on the list as are scrapping shops for me DD is planning on going on a fishing charter with some other blokes from here...that should be great for him too......
My uncle will be having his 65th birthday party and my other aunt invited us to go visit cause he is like 45 mins from where we willbe so we are going to that on the Sat night...we havent seen them since our last trip 4yrs ago...cant wait...
oh i was just thinking of taking family photos and it reminded me that we had our 17th wedding anniversary when the rellies were here and we all went out for tea...my bro and sil, my sis and her 5 kids the visitors and us made up a total of 14 out for tea....i beat my world record of photo taking that day....i /we took 300 photos,,,,yes 300!!!
Well id better go i have to work this morning and i have heaps still to do.
Im hoping who ever reads my blog will enjoy the updates....

Life has been so darn busy there has been no way to....doesnt help i spend too much time watching BB and then spending time chatting to my friends at Riverland Scrapbooking Supplies Forums...LOL
We are off to Qld for our long awaited holiday this coming Monday the 1st May..yay cant wait.
I havent even finished packing and it is saturday morning, i have been working the late shift at my job and havent been getting home until 5.30 6pm and by then its time nearly fro BB...nah seriously ,by the time you feed the kids and catch up there then tidy up and watch a bit of tv.......its late.
I went out to my scrap room twice this week,,,yay...i managed to finish a lo i titled Share the love ...all about how my neice loves her uncle and how she wouldnt share him with her brother this day they came overLOL
We had visitors for easter and they were here for5 days...phew....during that time we managed to get some work done at the block.
The pressure was on this year as we wanted to have everything done before we went away,,,we arent doing TTTOOO bad i guess...we pushed out a heap of apricot trees and have burnt that pile, we pruned our pears and another lot of apricot trees ....we have dried our sultanas and managed to get 6 bins or DD thinks about 3 tonnes out of that.
We are however still sorting them,,,you have to check for snails and foreign grass seeds...prickles whatever before they go in or you can be docked money...not good when you dont get much anyway.
I cant at this moment remeber what else has been happening all i know is just about every moment has been accounted for since we started to cut our apricots back in December 2005!!!!!
Now it is time for 2 weeks of BLISS!!!!
We travel to Adelaide on Monday but fly to Qld on Tues..we are planning to go to the BB eviction show while there, we are travelling with 2 friends and their kids so there will be 11 of us and boy do we plan to run amok!!!
All the theme parks are on the list as are scrapping shops for me DD is planning on going on a fishing charter with some other blokes from here...that should be great for him too......
My uncle will be having his 65th birthday party and my other aunt invited us to go visit cause he is like 45 mins from where we willbe so we are going to that on the Sat night...we havent seen them since our last trip 4yrs ago...cant wait...
oh i was just thinking of taking family photos and it reminded me that we had our 17th wedding anniversary when the rellies were here and we all went out for tea...my bro and sil, my sis and her 5 kids the visitors and us made up a total of 14 out for tea....i beat my world record of photo taking that day....i /we took 300 photos,,,,yes 300!!!
Well id better go i have to work this morning and i have heaps still to do.
Im hoping who ever reads my blog will enjoy the updates....

So what has been happening in my life?
Hello to all you die hards who want ot read this boring life of mine:) Well its never boring just so much going on that i can hardly keep up with whats going on....
I received an email from some friends we have not heard from since last time we went to Queensland which was May 2002.
We are heading back up there on 2nd May again this year...we cannot wait!
We have been so busy with our friut that we have been hanging out and looking forward to this break for 9 months. I began researching our trip in Sept 2005.
We are going up with two families who are friends of ours and we are going to hit all the theme parks. Hopefully, we can catch up with our friends again.
I havent done a lot of scrap booking lately although i went today and printed off 61 photos :)
I got 50 6x4 and 11 8x6s...for 24 dollars, i was really surprised as my tally said like 50 odd dollars and i was so glad it was cheaper, i had forgotten to work out for the cheaper ones for the over 10 prints:)
So now i have lots of photos to scrap and now i need the inspiration to start. I visit a cool place that has sketches that help you with some ideas it is called http://www.dailysketches.com/
Im trying to work out how to add links to my blog but i am SO not computer literate that i have no idea as to even where to start with it all.
I dont think i mentioned that i have been asked to work at my local scrapbooking store, i was so rapt to be asked it is such a thrill. I have worked there one day and had the time of my life:) Just pottering about and checking out all the goodies and getting ideas was fantastic.
I might leave it here for now. I dont even know if anyone even reads my blog so it kinda feels like im talking to myself LOL if you feel like it just drop me a line to say hi:) Id love to say hi back....maybe we can start a tag or something, now that would be fun...anyone got a tag to share...

hi there nothing exciting to report
hi there and welcome back to my blog, not that it is very exciting at the moment.
I have just been going to work and last night we had to get all our things ready at he block for our yearly audit.
We have a 10 acre fruit property and we have to belong to a HACCAP or quality control program, we have to be checked for all the fruits we grow so we have ones for dries vine grapes, citrus, stone fruit ,pome fruit, dried fruit including apricots, pears and peaches.
We are so very spoilt if you love cherries, apples, oranges, tangellos, lemons,pears, peaches or apricots, feel free to come and visit us :)

Argghhh, silly blogger i thought it had gone the way of the other blog i had and not let me do any posting but i see that there are two of the same posts....call it stress but im blowed if i can work out how to get to post on this darn thing...maybe im tired or not thinking straight with all thats going on but ive not the patience to even work it out,,,i guess i shall just have to perservere.
Well things are still hectic here, we are trying to get people to pick our grapes and our pears as well as trying to do our BAS Statement and our audit ran out for us to sell our fruit to companies so we have had to arrange for all that to be done and we only have until the 21st and the 28th.
I feel so tired and useless like ive got no energy for anything...i have started to take my vitamins again today, even thou we are eating healthy im feeling kinda run down and i have to go back to work next week:( eek!
Im really not looking forward to that at all. I will be okay once im back thou, you know how it is....never wanting to go back to work after time off...no matter what the reason...
anyway im going to leave this here for today and hope it publishes....
